School Program
2025-2026 Season
The school program season was a great success! The conditions were terrific and the kids loved it!
Season Highlights:

We served 3 elementary schools – Sutton, New London, and Warner (Simonds).

14 volunteers, many of whom served more than one tour of duty, made it all happen!
-
9 ski days - with groups of six, twelve, and twenty-three students and three to five volunteers
At the close of the season, students at Kearsarge Regional Elementary School created a heartfelt thank-you card and handmade gifts for the school program volunteers in appreciation of their time and support.
As an all volunteer run, not-for-profit organization, Pine Hill Ski Club welcomes area elementary schools to use its trails free of charge for their winter activities program.
Organized by board members and other volunteers, the Club hosts a weekly program for an average of 40 KRES children from New London, Springfield and Wilmot, with three teachers and five parent volunteers scheduled over five weeks from mid-January into February.
Simonds School in Warner brings an average of 25 fourth graders, with five teachers and 14 parent volunteers for their cross country skiing or snowshoeing experience. Sutton elementary averages 7 skiers learning the sport with two staff assisting.
Over 250 children have participated in the school program in the last few years.
All students are fitted up with boots, skies and poles free of charge!
