Pine Hill Ski Club exists entirely thanks to volunteers. Everything necessary to create this
wonderful place, happens with volunteers: regular trail maintenance, grooming, equipment
care, operations management, website conditions posting and editing, Robb’s Hut events,
financial management, correspondence, support of school winter activities XC programs and
Board service - ALL is accomplished with Volunteers!

Pine Hill Ski Club our Local Gem Needs Your Help!

Each winter, Pine Hill Ski Club (PHSC) offers a winter wonderland for skiers of all ages, featuring twenty kilometers of cross-country ski trails that wind through open fields and woods. Since its opening in 2005, this local gem has thrived thanks to the dedication of volunteers. However, after twenty years of operation, many of our long-serving volunteers are retiring. To continue operating the ski club, we are seeking passionate, dedicated individuals to keep the club vibrant and the trails pristine. 
Join Our Volunteer Team!
If you love skiing at Pine Hill or simply enjoy being outdoors your help is needed. There are many ways to volunteer including grooming, trail cleaning and greeting skiers. We have several positions that are open or will be opening over the next couple of years including but not limited to:
Board Positions: these positions open on a rotating basis and are filled by a vote of the membership.
· President: Oversee key club activities such as landowner relations, governance, daily operations
and lead the Board of Directors. This position will be open in October 2025, however, we’d like to
identify a candidate well in in advance.
· Secretary (Marketing & Communications): Become a member of the board of directors.
Develop and implement an annual communication plan to promote the club. This position is
open effective October 2024.
Volunteer Leadership Positions
· Website: Become the club’s web master by improving the user experience, enhancing
functionality and updating content e.g. trail conditions.
· Trail Maintenance Coordinator: oversee maintenance of ski trails by managing six to eight adopt-
a-trail leaders and an independent contractor.
· Adopt-A-Trail Leaders: Take charge of a trail to ensure it’s well maintained including clipping
branches and placing or removing trail signs.
Volunteer Positions
· Groomers: Assist in grooming the trails.
· Gate Openers: open the gate to the parking lot in the morning and/or close it in the evening.
