Volunteer
Pine Hill Ski Club exists entirely thanks to our dedicated volunteers. Everything necessary to create this wonderful place depends on those volunteers: regular trail maintenance, grooming, equipment care, support of school programs, Robb’s Hut events, website updates, operations management, financial management, correspondence – ALL is accomplished by volunteers!
To continue operating this wonderful resource, Pine Hill needs a continuing cadre of volunteers, for jobs big and small. If you love skiing at Pine Hill, your help is needed and welcome!
In winter months, we need volunteers in these roles:
-
Groomers: Drive the snowmobiles to set the tracks in the trails
-
Gate Keepers: Open and close the gate at start and finish of the day
-
Greeters: Take a stint in the parking lot on weekend days, welcoming skiers
-
School Program Helpers: Get kids into their equipment and off onto the trails
-
Robb’s Hut Hosts: Open the hut, light the fire, serve up hot drinks
For management of the Club, we always are looking for future leaders to learn a bit about various roles from officers to trail maintenance coordination.
Join us in preserving and enhancing the Pine Hill Ski Club experience!
2nd Annual Volunteer Work Day
THANK YOU to all who were able to participate in another Successful Work Day!
30 people showed up on Saturday October 19, 2024 and happily
distributed signs, pruned branches, cut logs, cleaned the outhouse,
fixed Robb's Hut roof and swept out the building,
placed Moosecots and enjoyed great hot dogs & chili!!!
